WHAT IS WISCONFLUENCE?

WisConfluence is a regional grassroots gathering devoted to envisioning, embodying and leading the way to community-based cultural solutions.Building bridges with knowledge- and skill-shares, we empower ourselves as impactful changemakers in our own communities - whether in bold, visible ways or quietly behind the scenes.We gather to Turn the Tide Toward a More Beautiful Future through grassroots action in alignment with peace, sovereignty and the principles of Nature.

About WisConfluence

Three health freedom-oriented organizations were each born independently out of a desire to connect and seek understanding during the pandemic.
* Common Ground (Duluth, Minnesota)
* CoCreating Community (Twin Cities, Minnesota)
* Driftless United for Health Freedom (DUHF in Viroqua, Wisconsin).In August 2023 a handful from each group converged at an annual summer picnic in Duluth, MN. Afterwards, a few of us basked on boulders in the sun at the confluence of Amity Creek and the Lester River, immersing our feet in their waters. An inspiration sprang forth to bring regional groups together to "Turn the Tide Toward a More Beautiful Future." Two months later, that seed blossomed into the first inaugural Confluence November 2023, focusing on: Courage through Connection.In 2024, the theme of Courageous Conversations to Re-Imagine Community, explored solutions that exist outside the box, in the private domain. This was the year Threefold Driftless joined as a co-sponsor.In 2025., we focused on Courageous Living In Changing Times. And this year's event is based on "Coming Home to Who We Are Becoming."You are warmly invited to Viroqua, the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless majesty to birth new forms of Relating and Re-enlivening; Dreaming up ways to MAKE IT REAL in your own home town.

SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to our sisters and brothers of Confluence at Sovereignty Ranch in Texas that also sprang forth in 2023 -- an event with the same vision, the same name, only a couple of weeks apart. The synchronicity of these affirms a shared resonant impulse towards freedom, connection, and stewardship -- illuminating The Way Forward.
